GEORGE MARGIN: Consumer Insights Manager, Hort Innovation

George Margin is Hort Innovation’s Consumer Insights Manager. Since joining Hort Innovation in October 2021, George has developed several foundational investments that will underpin delivery against the Consumer Insights strategy, including consumer fresh produce demand spaces, behavioural, attitudinal, and campaign tracking programs.

George previously worked at NielsenIQ as a senior manager across several tier-one FMCG brands. George has strong analytical and consultative experience; with the insights he uncovered helping to shape his client’s future business objectives. George is an expert in consumer purchasing behaviour and retailer scan data.

George also has a personal connection to horticulture through his family’s mushroom farm located on NSW’s Central Coast. George spends his weekends helping grow or selling mushrooms at farmer’s markets across the greater Sydney area.
