Berry Industry Partner Logo Use Policy
Current Berry Industry Partners may use the approved ‘Proud Berry Industry Partner’ logo to communicate their participation in the Berries Australia Berry Industry Partner program.
Use of the logo is subject to approval and the conditions outlined below.
1. Eligibility
The logo may only be used by organisations that:
- Have been formally approved as a Berry Industry Partner
- Have paid all applicable partnership fees
- Have a current partnership
- Continue to comply with the Berry Industry Partner program terms
The logo may not be used by subsidiaries, related companies, distributors, agents or third parties unless Berries Australia has provided written approval.
2. Logo supply
Once the BIP membership has been approved and payment received, partners can request approved logo files with guidelines for use.
Partners must use only the official logo files supplied by Berries Australia.
3. Approval before first use
Before publishing or printing the logo for the first time, the partner must provide Berries Australia with a proof, mock-up or screenshot showing the proposed use.

Berries Australia will aim to review requests within 3 business days.
Once a particular use has been approved, the partner may continue using the logo in the same format and context during the current partnership period. Any substantial change in placement, wording, format or context may require further approval.
4. Permitted uses
Subject to approval, the logo may be used on:
- The partner’s website
- Email signatures
- Corporate presentations
- Social media profiles and posts
- Trade-show and event materials
- Company brochures and capability statements
- Advertisements
- Other approved corporate communications
Use on product packaging, product labels, certificates, technical specifications or product-specific promotional material requires separate written approval.
5. Brand and placement requirements
Partners must:
- Maintain the logo’s original proportions
- Use the approved colours
- Retain the required clear space around the logo
- Ensure the logo is legible
- Place the logo on a suitable background
- Use the logo at or above the minimum approved size
- Follow all supplied brand guidelines
Partners must not:
- Stretch, distort, rotate or crop the logo
- Change the colours, typeface or design
- Add text, graphics or other elements to the logo
- Recreate or redraw the logo
- Place the logo inside another badge, shape or symbol
- Use a low-resolution or poor-quality version
- Position the logo in a way that may mislead or confuse the audience
6. Accompanying wording
Where clarification is required, the logo should be accompanied by the wording:
Proud Berry Industry Partner of Berries Australia
Alternative wording must be approved by Berries Australia before use.
7. No endorsement or certification
Participation in the Berry Industry Partner program does not mean that Berries Australia:
- Endorses or recommends the partner
- Endorses any particular product or service
- Certifies the quality, safety or performance of a product or service
- Provides accreditation or regulatory approval
- Guarantees any commercial claims made by the partner
- Grants the partner exclusive industry status
The logo must not be presented as a product endorsement, certification mark, quality assurance mark or evidence of regulatory compliance.
Partners must not use statements such as:
- “Approved by Berries Australia”
- “Endorsed by Berries Australia”
- “Certified by Berries Australia”
- “Recommended by Berries Australia”
8. Use alongside product claims
The logo must not be positioned in a way that suggests Berries Australia supports or verifies:
- Product performance claims
- Scientific or technical claims
- Environmental claims
- Sustainability claims
- Health or safety claims
- Comparative advertising claims
- Pricing or promotional offers
The partner remains responsible for ensuring that all advertising and promotional material complies with applicable laws, regulations and industry codes.
9. Partnership period and expiry
The right to use the logo applies only during the partner’s current approved partnership period.
Upon expiry, cancellation or termination of the partnership, the organisation must:
- Stop using the logo in new materials immediately
- Remove the logo from websites, email signatures and social media within 7 business days
- Stop distributing printed materials bearing the logo immediately
- Remove or replace physical signage immediately
- Delete or archive logo files where appropriate
Existing printed materials may not continue to be used after membership expiry.
10. Renewal
Where partnership is renewed without interruption, the partner may continue using the logo, subject to:
- Payment of the renewal invoice
- Continued compliance with this policy
- Use of the most current logo files
- Any updated brand guidelines issued by Berries Australia
Berries Australia may require partners to replace outdated logo versions.
11. Misuse and withdrawal of approval
Berries Australia may request that a partner amend, remove or stop using the logo where:
- The logo has been used incorrectly
- The use may mislead growers or other stakeholders
- The logo is associated with inappropriate or inaccurate claims
- The partner has breached program terms
- Partnership fees are overdue
- The use may damage the reputation of Berries Australia or the Australian berry industry
- The partnership has expired, been suspended or been terminated
The partner must comply with a removal or amendment request within 5 business days.
Berries Australia may withdraw logo-use approval at any time, where reasonably necessary, to protect its brand, reputation, or stakeholders.
12. Intellectual property
The Berry Industry Partner logo and associated branding remain the property of Berries Australia.
Approval to use the logo provides a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use it for the approved purpose during the current partnership period.
The partner may not:
- Register the logo or a similar mark
- Claim ownership of the logo
- License or provide the logo to another organisation
- Use the logo as part of its own business name, trading name, product name or trademark
- Create derivative versions of the logo

Berries Australia reserves the right to update this policy and its brand guidelines. Current partners will be advised where a material change affects their permitted use of the logo.
