New Membrane Water Treatment Technologies

Explore emerging technologies in WA that could make brackish groundwater a more viable irrigation resource. The article explains electrodialysis metathesis, forward osmosis, integrated forward-reverse osmosis and conventional membrane filtration, and examines how higher water-recovery rates, reduced scaling and improved control over water chemistry could complement existing on-farm desalination systems.
