An Overview of Protected Cropping Australia
Protected Cropping Australia (PCA) is the peak industry body supporting growers using greenhouses, poly-tunnels, netting, and controlled environments. PCA advocates for research, development, and biosecurity, partnering with Berries Australia on policy, education, and land use planning. The organisation offers webinars, farm tours, and industry workshops on IPM, fertigation, pollination, and substrate production. PCA also maps protected cropping systems to assist in industry advocacy and hosts a biannual conference with free grower passes available.
