AS20004: Can Microbes Help Strawberries Beat the Heat?

Research is investigating whether beneficial microbial products can help strawberries cope with high-temperature stress. Initial greenhouse trials assessed yield, firmness, sugars, dry matter and plant physiological responses. Early findings suggest microbial treatments may influence ripening and post-heat fruit quality, with further research required to understand their potential role in heat resilience.
