Berries Australia is pleased to announce new market access for Australian blueberries to Vietnam.

Vietnam is a protocol market, which means you must be formally registered and subsequently audited by the Department of Agriculture before being allowed to export to this market.

If you would like to consider exporting, please read the information below carefully.

If you wish to export between Nov 2025 – Feb 2026:

• Register now using the Berries Australia online registration system
• If you already have an account in the online registration system, please ensure you have entered all farms and packhouses that will be involved in export for the period Nov 2025-Feb 2026
• If you do not have an account in the online registration system, please email export@berries.net.au
• To submit your registration, you must pay the registration fee (the invoice is generated by the system)
• Registrations must be complete by 24 October 2025
• Audit will take place shortly thereafter

In preparation for audit:

• Make yourself familiar with the Micor protocol and workplan
• Ensure you have an approved crop monitor
• Read the Industry Advisory Notice from DAFF
• Be aware that there is a fee for registration and a fee for the DAFF audit, so please consider whether you will utilise your registration in the period stated (Nov 2025- Feb 2026). There is no advantage in registering now if you do not intend to export until March (or after) next year. Registration must be done annually, so you will be required to reapply (and pay the fees again).

If you wish to export from Mar 2026 – Feb 2027:

• Do not submit a registration in the current period
• There will be a subsequent registration call (and IAN from DAFF) in December for those wishing to register for Mar 2026 – Feb 2027
• Moving forward, registration for blueberry protocol markets will be in December each year, for export commencing the following March
• Registration is valid for approximately 12 months
• Registration must be renewed every season
