Spring Creek Seedlings Pty Ltd (SCS) was established in 1998 and was the first nursery in Australia to produce strawberry plug plants in commercial quantities and continues to lead the industry today. Commencing in 2005, SCS began growing strawberry plants in a soilless system (what we now refer to as Plug Plants), and over the next 18 years SCS has fine-tuned the system to achieve scalability and consistently high-quality plants.

With the closure of one of the largest suppliers of soil-based strawberry runners last year, this property offers a rare opportunity to not only take over an established major plug supplier but also the potential for further expansion to take advantage of the supply shortfall.

The owners have now made the decision to retire from the business but will remain for a period, to ensure a smooth transition for the prospective purchaser.

Currently SCS has a production capability ~8 million plants within the 3 growing facilities of 3.2Ha.
