From a horticultural family, Marcus spent 10 years in the irrigation industry after graduating from university. This was followed by more than 20 years in intensive horticulture applying the latest technology to help growers and investors in Australia and New Zealand achieve optimum production and quality through efficient use of resources such as water, energy and fertiliser.

Marcus graduated from Massey University, New Zealand with a Masters in Horticultural Science, specialising in greenhouse technology in 1996.

Marcus is currently the Account Manager for Priva Oceania and Technical Director for Priva SEA

Priva develops hardware, software and services in the field of climate control, energy saving, labour management and optimal reuse of water for horticulture, indoor farming and utility buildings.

Marcus is also a Board Member of Protected Cropping Australia.
