KEVIN BODNARUK: Consultant, Pesticide Regulation & Risk Assessment

Kevin currently works in the area of pesticide regulation and risk assessment. He has over thirty years’ experience, having worked in both government and private enterprise on aspects of pesticide development, use and regulation.

Recent projects have involved providing technical and regulatory support to Australian government agencies (e.g., DAWR, FSANZ & ACIAR), agricultural industry associations (e.g., AMGA, AOF, Pulse Australia, CAL & SAL), Research and Development Corporations (GRDC, HIA & RIRDC) and internationally with the FAO.

He has contributed to various industry committees and working groups, both national and international, related to the use of pesticides(e.g., AGs WG on Security Sensitive Chemicals & the IUPAC Advisory Committee on Crop Protection Chemistry), as well as participating as a member of Australian delegations to the Codex Committees on Pesticide Residues and the Committee on Contaminants in Food.
