Terms & Conditions – XI International Symposium on Irrigation of Horticultural Crops FREE TICKETS
ELIGIBILITY
- Entry is open to commercial berry growers in Australia who are actively producing strawberries, Rubus (raspberries/blackberries), or blueberries.
- The competition opens 1 October and entries close at 5.00pm AEST 15 December 2025.
- Employees of Berries Australia and Hort Innovation are not eligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
Complete the online entry form by providing:
- Your contact details (name, email, phone, farm/business name).
- The berry crop you grow (strawberry, Rubus, or blueberry).
- A short response (one or two sentences) to the question: “What’s one irrigation challenge you’d like to see solved?”
Only one entry per person per crop is permitted. There is no limit to the number of unique-person entries from a farm/business. If a farm/business grows more than one crop, each person can submit a unique entry per crop providing the question response is unique for each entry.
PRIZES
- Three winners will be selected: one strawberry, one Rubus, and one blueberry.
- Each winner will receive a two-day ticket to the XI International Symposium on Irrigation of Horticultural Crops at Tatura SmartFarm, Victoria on 20–21 January 2026 (valued at
- Tickets cover entry to the workshop (20 Jan) and technical tour (21 Jan, including bus transport).
- The prize DOES NOT include accommodation, meals, or travel costs (except bus transport on the field day).
SELECT OF WINNERS
- Winners will be chosen by Berries Australia based on eligibility and to ensure one winner is selected for each berry crop.
- The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS
- Winners will be notified by phone and email within five business days of the competition closing date (15 December 2025).
- If a winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize within five business days, the prize may be reallocated.
GENERAL
- By entering, participants agree to their name and farm being mentioned in Berries Australia communications announcing the winners.
- Entries may be used anonymously to highlight grower perspectives on irrigation challenges in future industry communications.
